No Longer Unseen began with a feeling I know all too well, the feeling of being unseen.

Living with an invisible disability changed my life in ways that many people could not imagine. While others saw me smiling, working, showing up, and doing my best, there were often struggles happening beneath the surface that went unnoticed. There were days I felt misunderstood, dismissed, or alone in experiences that were very real.

Over time, I realized I was not the only one carrying invisible challenges.

I had family, friends, and met new people with stories different from my own, but with something in common. They wanted to be understood. They wanted to be heard. They wanted to know they were not alone.

That realization stayed with me.

What started as a personal experience grew into a vision for something bigger. I wanted to help create a world where awareness leads to understanding, conversations lead to connection, and people living with invisible disabilities feel seen, valued, and supported.

With the love, encouragement, and support of my family and friends, that vision became No Longer Unseen.

This organization was created for every person who has ever felt overlooked because their challenges were not visible. It was created for the parents searching for support, the individuals learning to advocate for themselves, and the ones walking alongside loved ones through journeys that others may not fully understand.

Through awareness, education, advocacy, and community connection, more people will know they are seen, valued, and never alone.

No Longer Unseen was created from a belief that invisible does not mean insignificant.  That belief is at the heart of everything we do.
